about

This Berlin-based, German/Japanese trio approach your ears from a direction slightly to the left of that used by Scissor Sisters. The sounds of the seventies are here, but the touchstones are far more obscure: for Elton John substitute The Carpenters in lightbulb suits; for The Bee Gees insert Georgio Moroder directing Sarah Brightman and her starship troopers. Like Basement Jaxx gone J-Pop, or Belouis Some rifling through Depeche Mode’s bin for the Holy Grail, Pitchtuner may not have original ideas but the ideas they’ve nicked they have made their own. If the seventies had been this cool in reality we’d never have left the decade behind and we’d have been spared electroclash; still, now we’ve got electroflash and that’s a whole lot better.

Here we offer 5 tracks for best price - whole album incl. 13 songs.
